Luxury, Performance & Classic Cars
Modified by the renowned Chelsea Truck Company, this ULEZ compliant Jeep Wrangler is truly a sight to behold. Presented in Matt Volcanic Rock Grey with Kahn alloy wheels and new road-going knobbly tyres, this Jeep also features a custom, diamond quilted interior with impressive bucket seats.
When it comes to versatility, this car really is four cars in one – it’s a car that seats five, it’s a 4×4 off-road vehicle, it’s a load-carrying truck, and best of all, it’s a convertible… added to which, even the doors come off!
This ULEZ compliant Jeep Wrangler has been thoroughly modified inside and out by the renowned Chelsea Truck Company.
Based upon a 2.8L Wrangler CRD, the car was delivered new to The Chelsea Truck Company in September 2015, and was sold to its one previous owner the following month having undergone its transformation to what you see here today.
Delivered with gloss black paintwork, the Jeep was immediately wrapped in Chelsea Truck Company’s signature Volcanic Grey matt vinyl, which means that the new owner has the option to remove this and reveal factory fresh, unblemished paintwork.
Further to this, the exterior was treated to a 4 slot grill, horizontal LED running lights, diamond LED military headlights, Kahn 1941DC 17″ alloy wheels, LED Tron fog lights, privacy glass, Chelsea Truck Company wheel cover, Kahn Exclusive badging, chequer-plate running boards and Cooper SST Pro Tyres (which have just been replaced less than 100 miles ago).
Move to the interior, and the striking but tasteful modifications continue aplenty, with the most obvious being the heated GTB bucket seats, swathed in diamond quilted black leather and grey plaid inserts, with the same unique coverings carried through to the rear seats, door cards and centre console. The door sills are guarded by chrome CTC branded sill plates, the pedals are Kahn’s billeted aluminium version and the stereo has been upgraded with touchscreen satnav, bluetooth, telephone, Alpine speakers and a floor-mounted sub-woofer in the boot.
Driving the Jeep is a civilised affair, with many creature comforts. The steering wheel features all of the controls you would expect in more prestigious vehicles, including stereo controls, onboard computer, voice-operated telephone, and cruise control. Further to this, you have aircon, remote central-locking, electric windows, security alarm, rear head restraints, full roll cage, roll cage padding, reversing camera, and the aforementioned heated seats.
It would be amiss not to mention the Jeep’s best party trick – its ability to convert itself into so many different vehicles. It’s already an off-road vehicle that seats five but is also comfortable cruising the city or crushing motorway miles. Fold the rear seats and you have a van. Remove the front Freedom panels and you have a Targa. Remove the rear hard-top and you have a full convertible. Go one stage further and remove all four doors to give yourself a recreational vehicle that’s guaranteed to turn heads wherever you go.
The car is accompanied by the full Jeep book book including the dealer stamped service book and two keys.
